Glasgow (Greenock) Shore Excursions to Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle & Trossachs

Book Now for your 2012 Shore Excursion

Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park is an area renowned for its beauty and tranquility offering picture postcard views at every corner. One of the world’s most famous Lochs, Loch Lomond has been written about, both in song and verse.

Departing from the Ocean terminal Glasgow (Greenock) our first stop is at the picturesque village of Luss where you can stroll along the shores of Loch Lomond or wander into Luss Parish Church where you will see the 11th century viking graves that lie in the churchyard.

A visit to the Scottish Wool Centre is followed by a scenic drive through Rob Roy MacGregor territory and The Trossachs to Stirling Castle. The Trossachs were an inspiration to Sir Walter Scott who wrote the novel "Lady of the Lake" after spending time around Loch Katrine.

There is enough time for a leisurely visit to the Castle where you can hear the key moments of the history of Scotland and of the battles of Scotland's past, including Stirling Bridge where William Wallace (braveheart) defeated the English in 1297.
