Scotch Whisky Distillery Tours

Whisky Tours

Looking for a Whisky Distillery Tour? Then look no further. We have been enjoying Scotch whisky for at least 500 years. Scotland’s history, geography and culture all have whisky woven deep. Known as ‘the water of life’ or, in Gaelic, ‘uisge beatha’, it’s our National drink.

Our country is home to over 120 distilleries, across five whisky-making regions. Behind the doors of each one a mysterious and magical process takes place. One thing is for sure –wherever you find a Scottish whisky distillery you’ll find a source of soft, sparkling water. This vital ingredient, together with malted barley and yeast, creates malt whisky.

There’s time for a dram at a Scotch whisky distillery on our four day tours to the Isle of Skye, the Highlands and Loch Ness, which depart from Glasgow and Edinburgh. These tours either visit a Skye distillery or one on the mainland.

On our four day tour to the Isles of Mull, Iona and the Highlands, departing from Glasgow and Edinburgh, you’ll have time to visit Tobermory Distillery, one of Scotland’s oldest commercial distilleries which was established in 1798. You can also visit Tobermory Distillery, and enjoy a dram at another distillery, on our six day island hopping tour to the Isles of Mull, Iona and Skye, from Glasgow and Edinburgh.

We also have offer Private Tours for those looking for a more bespoke experience. With personalised itineraries you can explore as many distilleries as you wish during your visit. The Speyside and Islay whisky trails are popular with connoisseurs who wish to experience a tour or tasting at a number of distilleries. Alternatively, you may choose to just visit one on route to other locations on your bucket list.

Whichever tour you choose, they’ll guarantee an authentic Scotch whisky experience.
