Fantastic tour with an incredible guide! Johnny, our tour guide, was absolutely amazing! He knew so many fascinating stories about every place we visited, from local folklore and famous filming locations to where well-known people had lived. He was incredibly warm and friendly and had great recommendations for food and shops at every stop. He even timed our visits perfectly to avoid the crowds!

I can't recommend this tour enough! Johnny made us feel so welcome and really made the experience special. He definitely deserves a raise!

Absolutely brilliant day, it was the highlight of my wee solo trip, the Scottish Highlands are stunning, an Kyle really made the experience special.From putting together a Scottish playlist for the journey to sharing loads of interesting Scottish history, he made the whole trip feel that bit more memorable. He also pointed out the mountains and lochs at our stops and recommended local places to eat and drink, which was a really nice touch and made it feel like we were getting a genuine taste of Scotland rather than just ticking off tourist spots.You could tell Kyle genuinely enjoyed what he does, and that made a real difference to the day. Stuart was an outstanding tour guide. He gave detailed answers to lots of questions about the environment, history, and languages of Scotland. I really enjoyed learning all about Scotland and seeing beautiful sights with him on the west Highlands tour.

We did a small group tour of Loch Ness, Glencoe & the Highlands Tour from Edinburgh. It was a full day trip that seemed to fly by. Our guide, Douglas, was excellent and gave us the highlights of the areas history and overall Scottish history.You will get to see the hairy coos!You will not be disappointed by this trip!

I usually don’t write reviews, but Discover Scotland genuinely deserves one!My mum and I had a wonderful time exploring Scotland with Stuart, who was both our driver and travel guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, flexible and incredibly accommodating, making the whole trip enjoyable and stress-free.Thanks to their mini coaches, we could explore remote and beautiful places like the Fairy Pools without needing to drive ourselves. Stuart made sure we had a memorable experience, sharing interesting insights along the way and always making us feel comfortable and looked after.It was such a special experience travelling around Scotland with my mum, and we came away with beautiful memories. A big thank you to Stuart and the Discover Scotland team — I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone wanting to explore the real beauty of Scotland, especially those who don’t drive!

We, two independent persons, hade a marvellous time with Ciaran to Kilmartin Glen on Oct 5. It is such a lovely tour and it saddens me to know few people book it. So, go to Kilmartin and discover more of the true Highlands! I love the standind stones, castle, Dunadd (thank you, Ciaran, for helping me on the very muddy and slippery path!) and rock carvings. It was a very rainy day so mud pit everywherw, but Ciaran did his best. In Lochgilphead I found the most charming café run by two elderly ladies that makes me want to return. Inveraray was as charming as always and I had a great cuppa and cake there.

Visited Kilmartin in the lower Scottish Highlands September 2026 with Harry as our guide. My sister and I and three others enjoyed a beautiful day starting in Glasgow. We left on time, stopping at a Loch, then proceeding to Kilmartin with Harry providing commentary and leaving us to relax and enjoy the scenery at appropriate intervals.I was really happy with my choice to visit Kilmartin and grateful Discover Scotland offers it as a one day tour since other tour companies only go to Kilmartin as part of a multi day tour which we not have been able to do because of time limitations.Harry played a lot of great songs by Scottish artists on our return trip back to Glasgow. I liked the songs so much I noted several so I could add them to my music library when I returned home.I liked the small group, Harry was a great guide, loved our tour and would 100% recommend Discover Scotland, Harry and visiting Kilmartin.

I can’t begin to tell you how amazing this tour was. Two years ago we did the 3 day tour of Skye. At the time I thought it was the most amazing experience. That I couldn’t possibly love the highlands as much as I did in that moment. We loved it so much that we just needed to go back. So we booked it again but decided we needed to go longer and the 5 day Inverness and Skye trip looked perfect. Our van pulled up, out popped Scott and the rest was pure magic. He’s the Scottish fun uncle everyone should be lucky enough to have. On our first trip we were unable to hike The Old Man of Storr due to weather but Scott rearranged our whole day so that we could do it and gave us extra time so we could make it to the top. He met our shenanigans with more shenanigans. He helped create an atmosphere in the van that turned us into a traveling family. I’m am so incredibly grateful for his thoughtfulness, his laughter, his “hello girrrrrrrrrls!!”, he is a man who loves his home and is proud to show it to you. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Next up is the Skye/Mull tour and fingers crossed that Scott will be driving us around, showing us all the things he so very clearly loves. I know I can only give 5 stars but I’m going to throw a little extra razzle dazzle in for Scott because he is worth every single one. So Scott, this is for you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!! It’s only been a couple hours but I miss Skye, I miss the sheepy sheepies, I miss the coos, I miss my van family, I miss the rainbows and I miss Scott! 😭😭
