Accommodation on our Multi Day Tours

Scotland’s islands are incredibly popular, and accommodation can be limited, especially during the summer months. We strongly recommend booking early for the best choice of places to stay.

For most of our multi-day tours, you’ll be able to choose from our trusted accommodation providers if we have availability for your travel dates. If you already have accommodation arranged, you can provide your details during the booking process.

If no partner accommodation is displayed, you can still complete your tour booking by selecting “Please contact me about accommodation”, and we’ll help find suitable accommodation for you.

For our 2-Day Loch Ness tour, accommodation is arranged independently or with our assistance rather than selected during booking.

How Accommodation Works

Accommodation is not included in the price of our multi-day tours and is paid separately from your Discover Scotland Tours booking.

At the accommodation stage of the booking process, you can choose from our available partner accommodation or confirm that you already have somewhere to stay. If no partner accommodation is available, you can request our assistance and continue with your tour booking.

If you select accommodation through us, payment is made directly to the accommodation provider. As payment arrangements vary between properties, details of how and when to pay will be shown with each available accommodation option.

If no partner accommodation is available during booking, you can still complete your tour booking and ask us for help. Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll check additional accommodation options for your dates and contact you with suitable places to stay, along with the relevant payment information.

Don’t worry — you can still go ahead and book your tour.

If no accommodation is displayed, it simply means we don’t currently have accommodation available to select through our booking system for your dates. It does not necessarily mean there is no accommodation available in the area.

You can arrange your own accommodation within the approved locations for your tour or select “Please contact me about accommodation” if you’d like us to help.

Accommodation is paid directly to the accommodation provider, not to Discover Scotland Tours.

Payment arrangements vary between properties. Where accommodation is available to select during booking, details of how and when to pay will be shown with each accommodation option.

The majority of the B&B rooms we use have en-suite bathrooms. A very small number may have a private bathroom located just outside the bedroom.

If a room does not have an en-suite bathroom, this will be made clear in the accommodation details.
